Project Support (Paid Internship)
We are a small and impactful team, excited to introduce an energetic and hands-on new intern to our team.
About Reground
Reground is a waste education service committed to changing behaviour around waste. We believe waste is a resource. We collect ground coffee, chaff, and soft plastic from cafes, offices, retail stores, and roasteries around Melbourne. We are actively engaged in changing the systems around waste both through applied solutions and advocacy work. We have diverted over 1 million kilos of coffee from landfill to community and home gardeners and helped hundreds of businesses move closer to being waste-free.
About the Role
Please note this is a paid internship role. Reground’s Project Support Intern works across a number of projects in the consultancy team as well as performing external project work under the guidance of senior management. The Project Support Intern may also lead internal projects with support from other staff.
This role is currently 4 days a week, but we are open to other arrangements. We have flexible working arrangements so you will be based partly at our office in Alphington and at home, completing off-site work as required by projects. You will need to live in Melbourne.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Project coordination and tracking
Inputting and managing data (experience or skills in MS excel or programming an advantage)
Stakeholder engagement and management (by phone, email and in-person)
Perform ad hoc work related to the administrative operations of the business
About you
Passionate about the environment and helping the community

A little extra
You don’t need to know much about waste, you’ll learn all the ins and outs of this when joining, however, you do need to recognise the importance and the potential that waste plays in combating climate change and creating community and well-being.
Ideally you have an Australian driver's license and access to a car
If this sounds like you (or if you have any questions about the role) please send a cover letter and CV to jobs@reground.com.au using the subject line: Project Support.
